Hi everybody. I went to the homepage of Free The Children and the History page in About us had some information, if anybody else is planning to go there. From what I read it sounds like they're a missionary group focused on giving aid to children (hence the name). They do all the usual stuff like build schools and send medical supplies and so on, kinda like what the Canadian forces are doing in Afghanistan but on a broader scale. Also, Free The Children is a non-profit organization receiving funds from its founder Craig Kielburger, children around the world, and even Oprah's Angel Network. I could keep talking, but I think I'll let you guys read the rest at the link if ypu care enough to go there.

What's your idea, cdn_009? Also, is your alias an abbreviation or something, because I don't understand it.

I think it means canadian 009, but i might be wrong. We have a teacher in our school who works at Free The Children every Thursday and goes to Toronto.

HEy everyone the first day at MCQ was great. It was fun to meet all of the different people that were here!!!
Man that CHOCOLATE fudge that was sold for only 25 cents was really really good.
I also can't wait until tomorrow at the Globa Warming conference. I think that it will be very interesting.
My question for the week is:
What do YOU think is the main cause of Global Warming and what can we do as a community to help decrease Global Warming as a whole!!
Thanks for reading my blog!!!!
Comment me back!!!!

Man, at first when this Free The Children blogging "thingy" came on I had no idea what was going on and then once I saw the presentation I remembered back to the book Free The Children. I was really astonished as to how demoted the people how were under child labour were. The thing that disturbed me the most is that the following day when I returned to my school and told my classmates about the field trip some people just said "Well at least it's not happening to us." Now that's the type of behaviour I hate to see we need to get off our butts and try to start changing the world.
P.S. If Someone ever hears someone saying that at school it would be must appropriate for you to set them straight.
